Who Didn't See This In The Works?

I see today in the RG that WEDCO has extended the lease of the on the site of the BCC and has decided that its ok if the silos stay, they will not have to be knocked down. Though I do see that Burgess has said that the lease has not been extended to the BCC, but rather some new mystery entity known as Maxcem.

No one seems to know who the owners of the this new entity are, though I, and I am sure many other Bermudians, have their suspicions as to who is pulling the behind the scenes strings here.

For those who do not remember, at the height of the crisis over the future of the BCC, Dennis Correia came out of nowhere and bought the majority of the shares of the BCC, gaining upwards of 48,000 shares. Also for those who do not know, Mr. Correia is the spouse of failed PLP candidate Jane Corriea. So we have the husband of a PLP candidate buying a company that was under siege from our government, and now we an extended lease and a new mystery entity that the lease belongs to.

So I ask a question, who didn't see this coming?
